EXSCAPES documents the many ways we all (ex)perience land(scapes); something I call exscaping. Everyone walks through new landscapes throughout the day, whether it’s your home, a restaurant, nature, a city, or through your daily routine. Through exscapes, my perception as a designer & artist is applied to the landscapes I experience while traveling, cooking, music, and living in my community. I approach life with the same amount of detail and critical thought as I would approach a design problem.
EXSCAPES has had features on blogs: Be More With Less, RetroRenovation, Sew Mama Sew, and many more.
I started this blog in 2010 while studying landscape architecture and music at the University of Kentucky. I graduated in 2011 and currently run my own food photography business in central Kentucky. I have a dog and a cat who keep me entertained and I love going to events in my area of central Kentucky. I also enjoy spending time listening to jams on my vinyl collection while being with friends, working around the house, or planning my next project.
